Use Maxtkn
Manage files from the Files tab, edit them in the built-in editor, open them in your own editor, use a real terminal and find anything with the command palette.

The Files tab beside the conversation is the project’s file tree. Open the menu on a file or folder with the ⋯ button or a right-click.

| Rename | The name becomes a text box in the list itself. Names and clashes are checked as you type; Enter keeps it and Escape leaves it as it was. A change of capital letters only is allowed. |

Ctrl+S. A dot beside the name means unsaved changes, and leaving asks first.The file viewer, a Files row and a change card each have an open in editor button. Maxtkn picks the editor in this order: the project’s own choice, your default from Settings → Editor, the first editor it finds, then the system default app. A change card opens the file at its first changed line when the editor supports it. Files that Windows would run (.exe, .bat, .ps1 and similar) are never opened that way; they are shown in the file manager instead.
On the desktop app the Terminal tab is a real shell in the project folder, drawn with colours and a cursor, so npm run dev, git, Ctrl+C and full-screen tools work. It opens a first terminal by itself and remembers the output if you switch tabs.

Press Ctrl+K and type a few letters of anything: an action, a thread, a file, a setting. The same box opens already narrowed with Ctrl+P for files and Ctrl+Shift+F for the text inside files. Prefix characters narrow it further, and the box lists them as you type.
A quick chat has its own small scratch folder inside the app’s data. Make this a project copies the files to a folder you choose and checks the copy before it moves the conversation over.
