By using this website or installing Maxtkn you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

Maxtkn is in beta. It is built and tested on Windows today, it can have bugs, and features can change or go away. Early installers are not code-signed yet, so Windows may warn you before it runs.

We give you a personal, non-exclusive right to install and use Maxtkn on your own computers. You may not sell it, rent it out, copy it for others, or try to take it apart to get at its code, except where the law allows that.

Your projects, files and chats stay on your computer and belong to you. We do not claim any right to them, and we cannot see them.

What the AI agents write for you is yours to use. Models can produce similar output for other people, so we cannot promise that it is unique.

AI agents make mistakes. They can write code that does not work, delete or change files you wanted to keep, or run commands you did not expect. Maxtkn adds checks, approvals and undo to help, but it cannot catch everything.

You are responsible for what you run, publish or ship using Maxtkn. Keep a backup of anything important, review changes before you rely on them, and keep Ask first switched on for work you are unsure about. The safety checks are a guard, not a guarantee, and by default they are not a virtual machine.

Maxtkn does not provide or resell AI models. You bring your own API key, local model, or a plan with another tool such as Claude Code or Codex. You pay those providers directly and must follow their terms. We are not responsible for their service, their prices, or how they handle what you send them.

Cost and time estimates shown in the app are guesses. Set the limits you are comfortable with, because the provider’s bill is what counts.

Licenses are not on sale yet. When they are, the price and what is included will be shown clearly before you pay, and the refund terms below will apply to that purchase.

Maxtkn for Windows is a beta. The planned prices are one-time payments with no subscription: Community at $79, with help from the documentation and other users and no promised replies from us, and Supported at $199, with direct email support. A launch code may lower the Community price for a time. The app is the same in all of them.

Joining the early-access list costs nothing and does not commit you to buy anything.

If you buy a license and decide you do not like Maxtkn, you can ask for a refund of the full amount you paid, within 7 days of paying. You do not have to give a reason.

Refunds are not automatic: you have to ask. Reply to any email we have sent you and say you want a refund. Write from the address you paid with, or include the order reference from your receipt, so we can find your payment. We refund it through Dodo Payments to the card or method you paid with, and how long it takes to show up depends on your bank.

Once 7 days have passed we do not owe you a refund, except where the law gives you a right that cannot be waived. A refund ends your license: you should uninstall Maxtkn, and your download access on this website stops when the refund is recorded. Your own projects stay on your computer.

Do not use Maxtkn or this site to break the law, to attack or harm other people’s systems, or to infringe someone else’s rights. Do not try to overload the site, get around its limits, or probe it for weaknesses without asking us first.

Maxtkn, its name, logo and this website belong to us. These terms do not give you any right to them beyond what is written here. Parts of Maxtkn use open-source software, which stays under its own licenses.

Maxtkn and this website are provided as they are and as available, with no promise that they will work without interruption or errors, or suit a particular purpose. Early-access software especially may break.

As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for lost data, lost files, lost profits, or other indirect damage from using Maxtkn or this site, even if we were told it could happen. Where the law does not let us exclude something, our total responsibility to you is limited to the amount you paid us for Maxtkn in the twelve months before the problem, or zero if you paid nothing.

Nothing here limits responsibility that the law says cannot be limited.

You can stop using Maxtkn at any time by uninstalling it. We may stop or change the early-access program, or end access for someone who breaks these terms. Your projects stay on your computer either way.

We may update these terms as Maxtkn grows. We will change the date at the top, and for a material change we will tell early-access list members by email. If you keep using Maxtkn after a change, you accept the new terms.
