What Maxtkn is, how to install it, your first project and how to connect a model.
- What Maxtkn isA desktop workspace where a team of AI agents plans, builds and checks real projects on your computer while you stay in control. Who it is for and how a task flows.
- Install MaxtknWhat you need, how to get the Windows installer, what Windows may warn you about, where your data is stored, and how to update or remove Maxtkn.
- Buy and downloadThe Community and Supported plans and their prices, what each one includes, and what to expect when Maxtkn licenses go on sale.
- Your first projectYour first ten minutes in Maxtkn: the welcome, creating a first project, sending a first request and what you will see while the AI team works.

Use Maxtkn
Teams and tasks, approvals, reviewing and undoing, the preview, files, goals, schedules and customizing.
- Describe a task and work with a teamHow projects and threads work, choosing an agent team, planning first, steering a run, and using slash commands, mentions and keyboard shortcuts.
- Approvals and safetyAccess modes, permission levels, what always asks first, project trust, running commands in a container, and the stricter rules for unattended runs.
- Review changes and undoReview what the team changed in the Changes tab, keep or reject single changes, rewind the project, save versions, and see the checks that run after a run.
- Preview, point at the page and save the siteThe live preview, your own dev server, pointing at an element to change it, marking up a picture, device sizes, and saving the site as a zip.
- Files, editor and terminalManage files from the Files tab, edit them in the built-in editor, open them in your own editor, use a real terminal and find anything with the command palette.
- Isolated copiesLet a thread work in its own copy of a git project, look over the result, and apply it to your own project only when you decide it is good.
- Goals and scheduled tasksHand the team a goal it must really meet, or a task on a schedule, and come back to a report. Both run under stricter rules because nobody is watching.
- Customize MaxtknYour own agents and teams, rules, skills, slash commands, MCP servers and hooks. Install bundles, import from other tools, and give the team your documents.
- Cost and budgetsSee a cost estimate before you send, check what each run really took afterwards, and set day and month budgets that read like a phone plan.
Command line and tools

- Many terminal sessionsRun up to twenty AI coding sessions side by side, each in its own copy of your project: Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode, Gemini CLI or your own.
- The maxtkn command lineRun a whole request from a terminal or a script with the same agent team, safety rules and checks as the app. Options, exit codes, examples and what is logged.
- CI, the GitHub Action and the SDKRun Maxtkn in a CI pipeline, call the TypeScript SDK from your own scripts, and schedule unattended runs with the scheduler built into your operating system.
